We arrive in Valencia charged by the certainty of third place and with a great desire to return to the podium. In FP I lap well, some inaccuracy in Q2 makes me lose the first two rows. P7 A position where it is still possible to have a good race. In Saturday’s Sprint I start well, I try to stay with the first ones then Fabio’s (Quartararo) fall makes me lose contact with the first ones. On Sunday I had what it takes to make up for it but… I got knocked out in the third corner. Luckily in the pits my guys and family were ready to celebrate anyway, a truly incredible season. And in addition to third place in the world championship, I celebrated the victory of Pecco, a friend and an opponent with whom I get a lot of pleasure from brawling.

In the evening my family accompanies me to the third place award ceremony. They were always there for me and it was wonderful that we were all together celebrating a truly incredible season.

Now last tests and then … HOLIDAY!
