We arrived in Valencia super fired up, with a huge desire to finish the season strong — and with a little bet I was determined to win.
The weekend got off to a great start, both in Free Practice and qualifying, where I managed to take POLE POSITION. What a feeling!
In the Sprint, I got a good launch, but in the first few corners something felt off on acceleration, and I had to give up two positions.
I tried to catch Alex (Marquez) and Pedro (Acosta), but I was really on the limit, and that little issue in corner exit came back a few times.
Still, a solid podium, but we had to get back to work to fine-tune the bike for Sunday’s full race.
And on Sunday, my AlbaRosa didn’t let me down…
Led every lap from start to finish.
And when I saw the checkered flag, I knew I had won my bet — I’d get to take AlbaRosa home with me.
But first… it only felt right to ask for her hand. Manners first!
She said yes, and the celebrations began.
Total chaos in the box — then a quick clean-up, and it was time for the end-of-season gala.
I walked the red carpet with my whole family, and it was truly emotional. A moment to remember, and something I’m incredibly proud of.
Now it’s time for testing, and after that… finally, a bit of a break.
Some celebrations back home, a bit of holiday time — just enough to recharge.
But not too much, because the new season… starts very soon.
