A very difficult weekend in Qatar. The only consolation is to leave for Valencia with the third place in the world championship, For the rest, things get complicated already in FP when due to a yellow badiera I can’t get straight into Q2. In Q1 by a few hundredths we miss qualifying in Q1 and so we get off to an uphill start. From P12 it’s hard to climb back up, particularly on a track like this where there is a lot of tire wear. In the sprint I struggle to find my rhythm, make a few mistakes and finish in P12. In Sunday’s race I start quite well, but already from the first laps the pressure of the front tire was very high. Suddenly all the warning lights came on, and I had to pick up the pace. I had no feeling, especially in the front. Not the best day of my season, it was impossible to keep up.
We hope to make up for it in Valencia for the grand finale
