We start the weekend very well, with a good driving feeling and a new track record. In Saturday&#8217;s Q2, however, some smearing on the good lap penalized me a bit. I know that starting in P7 is a lot of trouble if you want to remount, and the risk of contact at the start is much more. In fact, my Sprint lasts one turn, and I immediately find myself on the ground and remedy two good blows to the shoulders. I arrive bruised in the pits, not only physically but also a little bit morally. But I know I can have a great race on Sunday, despite the grid position and not collecting data in the sprint. On Sunday morning, Saturday&#8217;s beating kicks in but I manage to run without painkillers. The adrenaline is strong, and I am charged. At the start everything runs smoothly, I keep the position, I manage to come back up to P4, then I find myself davandi Alez Marquez: I knew that the last 10 laps would be tough and I did my best to conserve and manage the tire. My tactic was elastic: I gained, I lost, I let the tire get air, and then I tried and it went well. I was very strong on the braking, and when I got in front I felt better and opened the gap a little bit in the finish. A great race, a great Sunday, with Vale in the pits helping us so much and Celestino&#8217;s great win in moto2. And the just reward to my team and everyone who follows me.
